What is included in each monthly package?
Payroll covers one established payroll schedule and routine payroll preparation. People adds up to two onboarding or departure workflows, employee-file upkeep, routine reminders, employee-admin follow-up, and business mail scanning and routing on an agreed schedule. Office adds up to four approved vendor or service requests, snack and supply restocking coordination, and one team lunch or social hour each month.
The listed tasks and quantities define each package. Work outside that scope is quoted and starts only with your approval.
What payroll schedules and team sizes fit?
Packages cover one California business, one location, and one established biweekly or semi-monthly payroll schedule. Weekly payroll, multiple schedules, and teams above the listed headcount need a separate quote.
Do I need to change payroll software?
Usually, no. We start by reviewing your existing setup and access. Your business keeps the payroll account and approves each run; software subscriptions are separate.
Can you help with hiring and departures?
I coordinate approved forms, checklists, records, I-9 verifications, and payroll-provider follow-up. When designated by the employer, I can complete I-9 document verification as its authorized representative. The business makes employment decisions. Legal advice, investigations, and complex HR matters go to your qualified adviser.
What does one-time project support include?
Projects such as payroll setup, event coordination, SOI filing assistance, and payroll audit preparation are scoped and quoted before work begins. The business approves filings and provides required account access and information. Event expenses and government fees are separate.
What if something breaks at the office?
In the Office package, I can contact your approved vendor or one of my trusted partners, arrange access, and follow up on up to four requests each month. Repairs, vendor charges, and emergency coverage stay with your business and its vendors.
How do we get started?
A short introduction, a review of your team and payroll schedule, and a written scope. We'll agree on service windows and a backup contact before the first payroll run.
